Founder and CEO

Joseph Calle is the Founder and CEO of Property Claims Consultants, bringing over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry. With a background as both a captive insurance agent and an independent broker, Joseph has developed a comprehensive understanding of policy coverage, risk management, and the claims process from multiple perspectives.

Driven by a strong commitment to helping homeowners, Joseph founded Property Claims Consultants to provide expert representation and personalized guidance during property insurance claims. He understands firsthand how overwhelming the claims process can be, and has built his firm around ensuring that clients receive clear communication, professional advocacy, and fair, consistent outcomes.

Joseph holds insurance licenses across multiple states, allowing Property Claims Consultants to serve clients in a wide range of markets while maintaining a high standard of service. Under his leadership, the firm continues to grow with a focus on integrity, accountability, and client-first representation.

Based in Illinois, Joseph lives with his wife, Erin, and their daughter, Ava. He remains dedicated to making a meaningful impact by helping homeowners navigate challenging situations with confidence and trusted support.


Managing Partner and Director of Operations

Brian Dornbos

Brian oversees the firm’s claim execution, operational systems, and team performance. He plays a central role in ensuring that every claim is handled with structure, consistency, and a high level of professionalism.

Brian is deeply involved in the claims process from initial intake through resolution, providing oversight on inspections, estimating, supplement strategy, and negotiations. He works closely with his team to maintain disciplined workflows, accurate documentation, and clear communication across every file—ensuring clients receive a well-managed and results-driven experience.

With a strong focus on organization and accountability, Brian has helped build scalable processes that allow PCC to grow while maintaining quality and consistency. He is committed to developing his team, refining internal systems, and creating an operation where both clients and staff have clarity at every stage of the claims process.


Russell Scalise

Public Adjuster

Russell brings a diverse and accomplished professional background to Property Claims Consultants, combining decades of experience in high-pressure environments with a disciplined, client-focused approach to his work.

Russell spent 19 years at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, operating in the fast-paced S&P futures trading pit, where precision, quick decision-making, and performance under pressure were critical. When the industry transitioned to electronic trading, he successfully pivoted into the entertainment industry as a writer and producer, collaborating with well-known talent including Heather Graham, John Corbett, and the late Dennis Farina.

In 2019, Russell continued his entrepreneurial path by opening his own fitness center, reflecting a lifelong commitment to health, discipline, and personal development. Today, he brings that same focus and work ethic into his role at Property Claims Consultants, where he is dedicated to helping clients navigate complex situations with clarity, professionalism, and strong advocacy.


Casey Papp

Public Adjuster

 Casey is a dedicated Public Adjuster with Property Claims Consultants, bringing over a decade of experience in the insurance and property restoration industry. With a background spanning insurance sales, field adjusting, estimating, and claims negotiation, Casey has developed a well-rounded understanding of the claims process—from initial loss to final settlement.

Before joining PCC, Casey worked as a field adjuster handling complex property claims, where he managed large caseloads, conducted detailed inspections, and negotiated fair settlements for policyholders. His experience on both the carrier and contractor sides allows him to identify discrepancies, build strong claim documentation, and advocate effectively for his clients.

Raised in a family of insurance professionals, Casey developed an early appreciation for both the importance and complexity of insurance. Today, he uses that foundation—combined with his hands-on experience—to help homeowners navigate the claims process with confidence and achieve the outcomes they deserve.

Outside of work, Casey is a devoted husband and father of three who values time with his family above all else. He enjoys running, golfing, playing guitar, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs. A former college baseball catcher, Casey was part of a national championship team at Joliet Junior College in 2012—a reflection of the teamwork, discipline, and competitive drive he brings to his work every day.



Jake Ebert

Public Adjuster

Jake is a licensed Public Adjuster with Property Claims Consultants, bringing a disciplined, service-driven approach to helping property owners navigate the insurance claims process. With a background rooted in military service, law enforcement, and federal healthcare advocacy, Jake is known for his structured mindset, attention to detail, and ability to perform in high-pressure situations.

Jake served in both the United States Marine Corps and the Army National Guard from 2003 to 2021, where he developed a strong foundation in leadership, accountability, and mission-focused execution. He later served as a police officer in Fayetteville, North Carolina, further strengthening his investigative skills, documentation accuracy, and ability to communicate effectively in complex situations. He continued his career in public service with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where he worked as a patient advocate and training specialist—guiding individuals through challenging circumstances and translating complex policies into clear, actionable direction.

Today, Jake applies this diverse experience to property insurance claims, specializing in wind, hail, and storm-related losses. He is highly focused on detailed documentation, policy analysis, and clear communication with insurance carriers to ensure claims are properly evaluated and fully supported. His ability to identify scope discrepancies and contribute to supplemental strategy makes him a strong advocate for the policyholders he represents.

Jake approaches every claim with professionalism, transparency, and a strong sense of responsibility—ensuring his clients feel informed, supported, and confidently represented throughout the process.


Erika Tellez

Public Adjuster

Erika is a licensed Public Adjuster who brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to every claim she handles. Since entering the industry, she has focused on guiding homeowners through the complexities of the insurance process with clarity, compassion, and confidence. Her work is rooted in a genuine desire to support clients in the aftermath of property damage—ensuring they feel informed, represented, and fully supported from start to finish.

With experience in residential property claims, Erika is skilled in damage assessment, policy analysis, and carrier negotiations. She prepares detailed estimates, builds comprehensive claim documentation, and advocates diligently to secure fair and timely settlements for her clients. Her ability to combine technical precision with clear communication allows homeowners to navigate the claims process with confidence and peace of mind.

Erika approaches every claim with integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. She believes that true advocacy goes beyond results—it’s about creating a seamless and reassuring experience during uncertain times while delivering outcomes that reflect fairness and respect.

Outside of her professional role, Erika enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and expressing her creativity through art and design. These experiences continue to shape her perspective and enhance the level of care she brings to every client interaction.
